Review Guidelines

Honest reviews keep this directory useful for everyone. Here's what we ask of every reviewer.

TravelAgencyPH reviews help travelers make one of their more expensive and emotional decisions — who to trust with their trip. To keep that trust, every review must reflect a real, first-hand experience. These guidelines apply to all reviews, and our moderation team enforces them.

✅ Do

  • Write from your own genuine experience with the agency.
  • Be specific — booking process, itinerary accuracy, communication, how issues were handled.
  • Add photos from your actual trip.
  • Stay fair and factual, even when the experience was bad.
  • Update your review if the agency makes things right.

🚫 Don't

  • Review your own agency, a competitor, or an employer.
  • Post fake reviews or accept payment to write one.
  • Include personal data, threats, hate speech, or profanity.
  • Promote unrelated businesses or paste spam links.
  • Review based on hearsay or something you didn't experience.

1. First-hand experience only

Only review agencies you personally dealt with. Reviews based on a friend's story, a news article, or a general impression will be removed. If you booked through the agency, checking the "Verified Booking" box adds a badge that travelers trust more.

2. No conflicts of interest

Don't review your own business, one you work for, a family member's agency, or a direct competitor. These reviews are removed and repeat attempts can lead to account suspension.

3. Keep it relevant and respectful

Focus on the travel service. Skip commentary on unrelated politics, religion, or personal attacks on staff. Reviews with hate speech, harassment, or threats are removed immediately.

4. Protect privacy

Don't post anyone's phone number, full name of staff, booking reference, or other personal details. Redact sensitive information from any screenshots or photos.

5. No incentivized or fake reviews

Reviews written in exchange for discounts, freebies, or payment are prohibited — whether the reviewer or the agency arranged it. We use automated and manual checks to detect review manipulation, and agencies caught soliciting fake reviews may be removed.

Agencies can respond. Every business can reply publicly to any review, and can flag reviews that break these guidelines for our team to check. We don't remove reviews just because an agency dislikes them — only when they violate the rules above.

Think a review breaks these rules? Use the "Flag" option on the review, or reach us through the Help Center.
